Greater Helena Gives - May 13/22/2024 Greater Helena Gives is a day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. The fundraiser runs 24 hours and ends at 8pm on May 1, 2024. Please give to all your favorite local nonprofit organizations (including Broadwater PTC!) at www.greaterhelenagives.org.

BINGO for Books - April 18, 6-7pm3/20/2024 Join us in the multipurpose room (you can enter the building from the north door in the playground) for BINGO! It's free to play and you can win books to take home! We'll serve popcorn and sell candy bars. Bring the whole family!

The Read-a-Thon runs from February 26 - March 10. For the Read-a-Thon, students ask for pledges (donations) in exchange for reading! Our students raise money and get rewarded for reading! We have prizes for the students who read the most and raise the most money - 6 prizes per classroom! Students can gather pledges via thpledgestar.com/broadwater/e online site PledgeStar (https://pledgestar.com/broadwater/) or students may ask in person and record donations on the paper form they received from their teacher. Sudents log their minutes spent reading at home from Feb 26 - March 10. Any kind of reading counts—reading alone, being read to, or for pre-readers, any dedicated time spent looking in books. To log reading minutes, students can log into PledgeStar (https://pledgestar.com/broadwater/) or record their minutes on the paper reading log they received from their teacher. Pledge sheets, reading logs, and any money should be turned into teacher by Monday, March 11. We have some fabulous prizes and want to thank the kids for their effort for our school! Prizes include passes to local businesses like Gym406, Flying Giant, Grandstreet Theater, Lasso the Moon, Montana Book & Toy Co, Painted Pot, and others. Other prizes include gift certificates for food at McDonald’s, Pizza Ranch, Frozen Moose, and more! |
