October 2 is International Walk to School Day. Broadwater is participating in this event. Join us and walk to school! We have meet ups at 8am set at the intersections of:

• Henderson/Hollins
• Henderson/Broadwater Circle
• Benton/Hollins

We could use adult commitments to walk students in and we need help serving up hot cocoa in the Habitat. Please use this link to sign up, and we hope that your families walk in on Wednesday morning!

Mark your calendars for Carnival Classic 2024 on Sunday, September 8 from 11:00 to 3:00 at Memorial Park!

The Carnival Classic is a city-wide celebration of public education and kick-off to the new school year held annually at Memorial Park in September. Student organizations, PTOs, sporting and academic groups, and other school related groups participate with booths and games from which they retain 100% of their proceeds. Other youth-related, nonprofit organizations in the Helena area participate with performances or informational booths. The event is hosted by Helena Education Foundation.

On September 3 at 8:30am, join the PTC and other kindergarten parents for treats and conversation during our Tears and Cheers celebration on the first day of kindergarten! We'll meet in the Habitat, at the east end of Broadwater Elementary. You can access the Habitat (outdoor classroom space) from a gate next to the east entrance of the playground.

Join us at Broadwater School to meet teachers, drop off school supplies, and enjoy a free ice cream treat provided by Broadwater PTC. You can also meet PTC members and get your questions answered.

Event is August 27 from 3:30-4:30pm.

Enjoy free lunch at Broadwater Elementary with your children and family! We will be eating outdoors on the playground and school lawn, so bring a blanket to sit on.

We're also having a Resource Fair showcasing community resources for your family. Visit with different organizations and learn what services or products you and your kids can benefit from.

Join us for the Broadwater Elementary School Ice Skating Night at Steed Arena on May 10 from 5:00 - 7:00pm. This event is free for all Broadwater families and the entire family is welcome! If you have ice skates, please bring them as rentals are limited. We can't wait to see you there!

Greater Helena Gives is a day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. The fundraiser runs 24 hours and ends at 8pm on May 1, 2024. Please give to all your favorite local nonprofit organizations (including Broadwater PTC!) at www.greaterhelenagives.org.
